Click on "Soundex". There is just one with a birhdate - she has 1628. If you take out the birth date and put "Stafford" in the spouse field, you get 85 hits, 30 of them with sources.

Some problems have no solution. Bromley/Brumley is one of them. Mathis/Matthews is another. Not to brag, but one of my ancestors came here as Hendrick Kesselberg. He died Henry Casselberry, having used most combinations of
Cassel / Castle and
berry, bury, berg, burg
he could try. I counted 12 variations once, before I gave up. He witnessed a lot of wills.

If you are lucky they won't change the spelling in the same document; sometimes they do, especially if they are listing their sons, some of whom spell the family name one way, some the other.
