I'm researching the family of my g-g-grandfather, Frederick JONES (27 Feb 1837 - 10 Sep 1914) of Franklin Co, PA. He married twice, first to Mary C. BROOKENS (1839 - 15 Mar 1882, my gggrandmother) and second to Elizabeth MULL (13 Feb 1855 - 26 Aug 1935). The 1880 federal census for Green Twp, Franklin Co, PA lists: Fred Jones 44 Farm Laborer; Mary 41 Keeps home; Jacob 18; John 16; Annie 14; Carrie 11; David 9; Fred 3; Suzzie 5/12. All born in PA.
The 1900 Green Twp Franklin Co, PA federal census lists: Frederick 63 (Feb 1837); Elizabeth W. 45 (Feb 1855); Harry E. 12 (July 1887); William T. 10 (Sept 1889); George H. 8 (Feb 1892) and Clarence A. 4 (Aug 1895)
In Frederick's obituary (of 11 Sept 1914) he is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs Alonzo MCCLURE and Mrs Alice BROWN of Cold Spring; Mrs William PERRY and Fred of Fayetteville; Mrs Lizzie BAKER of Scotland; Mrs Bert HEIKES of Shippensburg; David and Reuben of Chambersburg; Clarence and Harvey at home and George of Pontiac, MI.
