Abraham Carley(Green Mountain Boy)of Hillsdale/Nobletown,NY, is believed to be the son of Mariner William and Mary Bowden Carley who were married in 1703 at the Old Northend Church in Boston by Cotton Mather.Abraham's father William b 1780-84 was the son of Widower Henry b. 1632 and (2) Elizabeth Ward Howe, a widow and d/o of William Howe. Mariner William was the second son William for Henry because the first son William was killed in the Lancaster Masscure. Henry also had a brother William b 1633 who married Jane and had all girls in Lexington. We can tell you more and about Brookins as well.Where did you get your info? What is your interest in Brookins? The above info is fairly new and was reasearched by myself and Judy.
