A lost Brookins line?
Posted by: Terrie Brookins Date: October 22, 2000 at 20:46:55

Can anyone give me some help? I keep hitting
wall. I can't find anything solid past my grandparents.

James and Margaret Brookins are my paternal
great-grandparents (proabably married in
Georgia - I can't find a specific date.
James Henry Brookins Jr married to
Jessie Mae Vining(in the 1920s or 1930s
in Jersey City, NJ) are my paternal
grandparents.

My father (Nathaniel, born 1930 in Jersey
City, NJ.) has told me of his gradmother "Rose," a fullblooded Cherokee Indian.

I'd appreciate any help any one can give me.

Thanks!
Terrie Brookins, New Orleans, LA
