Dear Dave
But did you find the children of this "Joseph". We are still seeking the ancestry of Cenat Brouillet. We are now certain that he was the first husband of my grandfather's sister Louise M*, because he is listed as "Senat" in one of the family records in Yakima WA, and as "Cenat" in the obit of his daughter Emma (who married a Schriner in Yakima WA). And there is a Cenat B* referenced as an early settler of Lake Pleasant Township in the "History of Red Lake Co", co-edited by Annne Healy of Terrebonne, in the 70's. Louise was brought to that same place by her parents in 1878, and she told her granddaughter Yvonne Schriner that her parents "arranged" her marriage with Cenat, and that she became so scared on her wedding night, that she ran home. (She was 15 when they came to MN, and she said that she was VERY young at the time of marriage.)
And we know that the Marchand farm was in sight of the watertower at Terrebonne, and Cenat's must have been nearby.
We have an undocumented report that Cenat was the son of "Joseph". Can you help??
And I have made a convert of Yvonne Schriner, and I believe that she would be very interested in your book on the family, as would I. How do you send it; via street mail, or?? I would be glad to pay for printing and shipping costs.
Also, the "Paulette" that made the original query, is the descendant of Emma's sister Zelia B*
Regards, and thankyou
PS
I assume that you know that you can get my e-mail address by clicking on my name??
George
