This is my Dupuis - Brousseau connection - which happens twice. First Genevieve Brousseau m Bartholomew Dupuis in LaPrarie, Quebec. Sometime before 1850 - probably more like 1835 or so. She is an orphan - he is the son of a farmer. They move to Detroit - have a family - he dies on a lake vessel during a storm. ( That is written family lorr, along with the fact that Genevieve's parents may have assumed the name of Brousseau). Gen. and Bart have the following children: Augustus J. ( married an Annie), Euphemia, who marrie a widower Blay ( he had three kids, they had another 5), Mary, who married a Brousseau, after it was proven that there was no relationship, George, who married a step - dau. of Euphemia - there are no birth dates for these people. Now the last child is Henry Charles, who was born in 1851 - married Matilda Hubert(Hebert?). These are my Ggrandparents. Soooooo.... does that help at all???
