Louis Brousseau and Joseph Bruso

I am trying to find information on my great-great-grandfathers, Louis and Joseph Brousseau. The spelling has been different every time I find them. I know that Louis Brousseau was born in 1826 in Quebec (possibly LaPrairie region). He married Cesarie Gervais 9 Sept 1851 St. Remi, Iberville, Quebec. They had a son, Ferdinand born in St. Chrysostome, Quebec 16 Mar 1865. He married his first cousin, Adea Mathilda Bruso, born 1868 in Ellenburg, New York. Her father was Joseph Bruso and mother was Mathilda Gadbois(Gadway). If they were first cousins, their fathers must be brothers. I received information some years ago that said Louis' parents were Jean Baptiste Brosseau and Marie Lachapelle dit Jannot. I would be very appreciative of any information anyone has on this family. I can go way back to Julien and Denis Brousseau but I am not sure of the connections. Thank you!
