Kathleen -
I'm curious about the BROUSSEAU dwarfism, and am more interested in your statement, "Our Brousseaus moved from Yamaska to Sorel to St. Aimé, QC; and from there to Webster, Mass."

I am looking for info on Francois BROUSSEAU who m: Delphine PICARD/PECOR about 1880 somewhere in Canada. Francois may may have died before 1945 because he's not listed on the 1910 New Hampshire Census and it listed Delphine immigrated to Nashua, NH in 1901 at age 44 with her 6 surviving children: Eva Almira, Frank, Catherine, Violet, Walter, Florence (son J. Albert died as a child in Canada).

My grandmother Eva Almira BROUSSEAU was very short - abt. 4'8" tall and her 3 daughters (all still living) are all about 5'tall (or less because they're all in their mid 80's).

My connection to Yamaska is that Joseph Louis "Eugene" THEROUX b: 08/25/1884 in Yamaska, St-Michel, PQ, and m: Eva Almira BROUSSEAU in Nashua, NH in 1905. I understand Eugene moved to NH to work in the refrigeration industry and stayed with friends in Nashua, where he met Eva. Eugene & Eva moved to Stoneham, Mass. before 1st child was born in 1908, and they both died in Stoneham and are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery on Elm St. in Stoneham, Mass. (right around the corner from where I grew up).

Please let me know more about the BROUSSEAU connection in Yamaska, and if you have info on Frank, his siblings and parents.

Thank you,
Cheryl (Theroux) Murphy-Whitican
