Charles Brousseau?? born approx 1780

My maiden name is Brewsaugh and there aren't very many of us in the world ; ) I have researched my family back to Charles Brusaw/Brusaugh who records show arrived in Bourbon Co., Kentucky in 1796. After this, the trail is dead. Most Brewsaughs have always been told we have French roots, (likely from a name like Brousseau or Broussard) and one researcher theorizes that we might have been Accadian, and believes our Charles may have come north from Louisiana after arriving there from Canada.

If anyone has any knowledge of a Charles Brousseau born around 1770 - 1780, please contact me. This is a search that's been going on for many, many years now and we'd love to find something new.

Thank you!
