Hi Jessica, I have been doing some research for you and found some information. Your Grandpa Freds Father was Fred and his father was John. Here is what I know

Jean Baptiste Brousseau was born in April, now according to his death certificate it says 1844 however many death certificates are wrong. According to all the census' he is in he was born in 1850 or 51.
John died April 17th, 1913 at the Wells infirmory (Poor House). They did not list his parents. However the informant was Joseph Brousseau, he did not have a kid with that name so he must be a brother.

John married Louise Goulet in 1870 (Probably Wisconsin) She had a brother Louis who married in Fond Du Lac.

Louise's Parents are Louis Goulet and Agnes Paquette (This info I got off the Death record)

Louis and Agnes were married June 30th 1844 in St. Andre D'Argenteuil (Which was kind of neat as my Belanger's, Denaults came from there)

Louis and Agnes can be found on Familysearch so you can continue on from there.

I am still trying to find Johns Parents, when I do I will let you know. If you email me at djbelongia@yahoo.com I can send copies of the records I have to you.

Dave
