Hi Raymond

I have learned that Jacob George Bruckman graduated from the University of Prague in 1831. My grandmother Fannie Bruckman told me that when she was a child the family would travel to New York and visit her Jewish cousins. By a process of elimination George Bruckman is the only possibility in the family tree that could be Jewish. I have checked in with the Jewish Gen org and they have no record of a Bruckman family in the area of Prague but said it was possible he came from Germany to attend the university. There are German Jewish Bruckmans
