It's possible she could be a daughter of my ggg-g'parents Mark Bruffey and Louisa Lewis Bruffey, who I currently show with sons born 1811, 1815, and daughter 1817, with Louisa dying before 1828. The other 2 Bruffey sons (of John the Rev. War vet who settled in Pochahontas and Greenbriar area), have well documented and numerous children, none named Emily, and the daughters born around 1820 usually have other husbands listed. John Bruffey and Eliz. Hill Bruffey list 12 children, but no Emily (Margaret 1819, Julia 1822, Lavinia 1823). Same for the 3d Bruffey brother, Patrick (Elizabeth Slaven 1818, Carloline Margaret 1822).
