My mother's name was Hilda. Her maiden name was Hilda Modder.
While young, she lived with her father and mother out near the Huron River near Ann Arbor.
I never knew her father, he died before I was born. Her mother was I think, a Hoefflin. She was German, but raised in Armenia. Her father was an educator and was sent to Armenia to start a university for the Kaiser.
We lost Mom a couple years ago.
While I wa groing up, we moved several times between Arizona, New Mexico, and Michigan. That's probably how you lost track if she's the Hilda you are speaking of.
