My mother's maiden name was Brumley and her family tree has been traced back as far as KY. I do not know for sure what county. I do have a family record page that shows a William Brumley born in 1833 to Larkin J. and Sarah Brumley. Sarah was a Barnett born in approx. 1808 in SC. Larkin was born approx. 1814 in KY. If this helps, I will be glad to scan the page and e-mail it to you.
