Yes, Edith sometimes went as Mary. Her name must be Mary Edith. I have the same record on Susan's birth and parents from 2 sources but in the same Vit. Stat.of Franklin.Have you been on the web-site of Ann Holder Lee's where she has several years of births,deaths,
and marriages of Franklin Co. copied from Vital Statistics? It took me hours to go through, but it was worth it. I found a few differences.She had Brumley spelled Bromley in both Susan's and Samuel's births.Some dates were also different from what I copied myself when I viewed the film years ago.
Carol, did you recognize any of the Shackelfords I sent you? Also, do you have anything on the Brumley side I might be interested in?
