Hello, I'm a Brumley from Texas. My father, who lives in East Texas just wrote me an e-mail. In it, he mentioned something about some hymn writing Brumleys. Here is the text from his e-mail. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting it. "My aunt Goldia Baker,a Dallas resident and by the way my Dads oldest sister is 99 since yesterday. She is the last of the G.W. Brumley family. G.W. was my granddad. Through her birthday and certain death one of these years, I will be the oldest Brumley. Not to worry about the clan running out. I took care of that. Thru the passed years you,Warren,Neal,Mark,Mike, and his two grown sons and another on the way in March,2006 will certainly take care of the Brumley name. I talked to a Brumley in Missouri some time ago about the Brumey Southern Gospel Festival. He told me the same bunch of Brumleys just cover eastern OK and western Missouri. Same bunch! Albert Brumley, who wrote many gospel songs that we still use was G.W.' second cousion." Hope this helps. Gary Notify Administrator about this message?
