Leah Elizabeth Cook's maiden name was Cook.
Her father was Joseph Cook, and her mother's
maiden name was Sarah Blackwelder.
Leah was the second wife of Joseph Cook Jr. b-1819.
Joseph Cook Jr. was the son of Daniel and Martha (Brumley) Cook.
Narcissa (Narsisas)Cook, b- 1817-Cabarrus Co, NC., and married a Seth Rodgers. Joseph Cook Jr, b-1819-Cabarrus Co, NC., and married 1st wife Sarah Phillips and 2nd wife Leah Elizabeth Cook. Elenore (Ellennor) Cook b-1827/28 and married Robert Kannerly or Kennerly are three of the eight children born to Daniel and Martha (Brumley) Cook.
We are still searching for living family that are connected to our Cook, Brumley, and Kennerly families that would like to share any info that they may have. We have much info and pictures to share also.
