My grandfather, John Clinton Brumley, came to Nebraska around the turn of the century from some place in Illinois, Champaign I think. He may have been an orphan, may have had a brother and his maternal parent may have been Davis. I know little more than this before his move to Nebraska. If this information coincides with any of your family please advise.
