Have you made any progress on your Brumbly ancestors. I have found this week that Walter's Fathe, John, had a brother named Davis M. Brumley. We spell it here Brumblay, I have been told that is the proper spelling but you have to go by they way is is spelled on the document you are looking at.
Davis was born 6 may 1828 Dearborn, IN. Maybe this will help you if you have not got this far.
