I am at a brick wall. My husband's great grandmother was Nora. According to the marriage to Calvin Johnson in 1890, her name was Brumley at the time of the marriage. She was born in 1871 on 25 December, in Hickman Co., TN, and died in Jackson Co., AR, in 1954, after having divorced Calvin and remarrying a man by the name of Hayslip. On the census' of Jackson Co., AR, her mother is listed as Ann Carter,(N.C.) and lived with Calvin Johnson until his death. Now someone says that Nora's REAL maiden name was Colman. She had a daughter, Myrtle, who married Felix Brumley and who said he was her cousin. When Nora died, she was living on the property of Felix and Myrtle Brumley, in Remmel, Arkansas. She is buried in Remmel.
Can anyone give me any help on this at all?
