David Brunton/Elizabeth Oliver

This couple married in 1848 - trouble is there are two pairs with the same name and the same year, marrying in Cockpen and Mertoun. Elizabeth"s parents were William Oliver and Janet Scott and I think their last child was born in Mertoun in 34. The Scotts came from Magdalene Hall Farm.

The Brunton/Oliver family moved around Angus and Midlothian after marrying before heading for NZ in 1859.

David's mother was probably Anne Pringle (family info plus the naming system) and I think they came from Ireland.
