I am researching Bruntons starting with James b abt 1800 who married Susanna. Their son William Frederick was born 1824 Fulford, York, a confectioner, died Carlisle, Cumbria, 1898. His first 2 sons were also confectioners, Robert Henry b abt 1865 Birmingham, and Lewis Benjamin b 1860 London, Robert Henry moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where he married Jane Reid, and then to New Brunswick, Canada for a short time before going to Dorchester (Boston) MA in 1911. He worked in several chocolate factories. They had 11 children whose descendants I am trying to find. Most of the other family members were born Birmingham, but 2 were born Scotland 1845, 1850. Anyone know about this line???
