Hello Sally,

I'm sorry to say but so far as I am aware your family of Bruntons and mine are not connected - at least not obviously so. And in my tree the Bruntons are not directly related to me, except those who were born to Louisa Brunton nee Rishworth, and their descendants.

The William Brunton who married my great-great-grandmother Louisa Rishworth (her out-of-wedlock daughter Elizabeth was my great-grandmother) was a Wool Sorter born about 1834 in Wakefield Yorkshire to another William Brunton, also a Wool Sorter of the area.

Good wishes for your research.
