Margaret was buried at

Traquair kirk. She died in April 1845 (aged 30 I beleive) and was born 8th october 1814.

James Amos is buried in the same grave, he died aged 37 at Glengabe in June? 1852.

The grave stone is pretty weathered now, as are a lot in that graveyard.

I'm descended from Robert. Only thing I know about Margaret was what is on the tombstone.

Margarets father, was born born in 1769 and called David Brunton (he was a taylor and gamekeeper) and was one of 4 children. The others were Agnes, James, Janet.

Their father was also called David (he was a taylor at Yarrow), and had 1 brother called James.

There father was yet another David, he was one of four children, the others being Gidion, Margaret and Marie.

There father was called Alexander Brunton. Who came from Yarrow.

I'll try and find a way of uploading photos of Margarets grave.
