Thank you for your post. Like you I am trying to determine if Mary Brunton could have been the wife of the Isaac Edwards which I descend. The dates you provide for Isaac's christening are in the right time period but references have been found for Isaac in WVA prior back to 1772 when he erected a cabin in the Simpson District as early as 1770-71. Could he have gone back to England to marry and then brought his new wife to his cabin in the woods?
I will email you more detail on the Isaac. Perhaps we can find a link.
