I have a Cecil Brunton b.1791 in Leslie, Fife Scotland the son of John Brunton b 1862 Kennoway,Fife and Margaret Beaton b. 1762 Dysart, Fide married 1787 Markinch, Fife. Cecil had one brother William b 1788 in Leslie ( this is the line that my family stem from ) and a sister Isoble b.1793 Leslie, Fife. I can find no further trace of Cecil in any Scottish records. Perhaps he moved to England? Perhaps he is the father or grandfather of your Cecil? It is an unusual combination of names. If you wish any more info. You can contact me Muriel Adam at adam.family@cableinet.co.uk My mother was a Brunton.
