Yeah. I don't know if she is or not. My family did not even get as far back as I did. I found her on the 1870 census too, as black. Also in Troup and in Harris County they put no one down as Indian mostly every one who was black or mulatto was put down as black. My family claimed she was full Native, but I don't think so. Their was also another Lucinda Whitehead who was in the 1870 census and she was fifty while my ancestor was twenty, in 1870. I am mainly looking for Wiley Bryant my ancestor. Samuel Bryant was the only white Bryant in the area who was born in Georgia. All the other white Bryants were born in VA, NC, or SC. On the 1880 census it said Wiley parents were born in Georgia. And I can't even find him in the 1870 census. I only can find him in Mark Bryant's death certificate, 1900 census, and 1880 census.
