Looking for Bryces

Dear Catriona
I believe I may be related, as my family names look very similar.
I have a Margaret Bryce born 1797 or 1799
William Somerville b 1795 m Margaret Bryce
their children were born in Wilsontown Lanark, they were living there in 1841, William having died 13/11/40 aged 45 of decline. Unfortunitly I don't seem to have a record of where Margaret was born
Marion 22/5/1823 m George Brown on 6/1/1850 at Carmicheal Lanark. They emmigrated to Te Anu in New Zealand
William 29/8/1825 m Isabella Stewart on 10/12/1852 at Whitburn Carnwath. My ancester; two son's John and James came out to NZ also, and met up with the Browns.
John 14/9/27
Mary 28/2/30
Robert 4/10/32
unnamed 23/9/34 d.3/10/34
James 18/5/36
I realise the shire is different, however Lanark and Renfrew do neighbour each other, and I have also got other ancesters who travelled between these two shires. What do you think?
Gaye
