Let me muddy up the waters a little. In the book "German Pioneers" by Strassburger and Hinke Vol. 1 "A publication of the original lists of Arrivals in the Port of Philadelphia from 1727 to 1808" by Genealogical Publishing Co. of Baltimore printed in 1966 is the following entry. I'll show it the same way it is listed because it's a little strange. "Christian Buchner age 10, arrived with mother Christina age 35, with Hans age 54 and John age 20, aboard the good ship "Oliver" on August 26, 1735." I've had this information for over 2 years but didn't know what to do with it. If Hans was the head of the household, they would have listed only his name and Johns name as only men above the age of 18 were listed on the ships manifesto.
