We've located the land Jesse Buckbee & Josiah Buckbee settled in the 1820's - near Onego, Pendleton Co, WV.

Josiah also had land until 1832 in Randolph Co - 50 acres adjoining Daniel Canfield's which he sold to John Taylor. His Pendleton Co land he sold to Jesse - we think part of this land may have been referred to as "Buckbee Bottoms" and may have been along White Run, in Whitmer - land which was sold to the parents of O.D. White around 1908.

Jesse's land along Roaring Creek, Elk Lick Run & Long run was sold in 1875 to Arbogast family.

We may have found Wain Haigler as James or Jesse W. Haigler/Hagler in later census.
