I am a relative from the Buckles family. Fanny who married Charles Carroll was the daughter of Alfred Buckles (1825-1879). His parents were John Buckles, Jr. (1802-1892) and Belinda Hart (1805-1877). John, Jr. was the son of John Buckles, Sr. (1775- ) and Frances Wallingford (1772-1832). The parents of John were Robert Buckles, Jr. (1740-1808) and Rachel Van Meter (1740- ). Robert was the son of our first Buckles in this country, Robert Buckl;es, Sr. (1702 England - 1790) and Ann Brown.
Frances (Fanny) Buckles was born 27 May 1862 and died 3 October 1926.
Her mother was Susan Elizabeth Boarman (1829-1891). I have the Boarman line going back into England. Can supply more information if you need it. Jim McDowell
