Lisa: my email is cpenquite@aol.com. If you will send me your snail address, I will mail you a copy of this booklet. It does say that the Penquites were in Buck Co Pa in the early 1600. They came from Cornwall England and the name is derived from Pen (a summit, extremity or chief) and Quite(a wood)
meaning Top of a wooded hill.
I have not been able to find out who William Penquite (born 16 Aug 1756) father was. His mother was Mary born Oct 25 1719.
