Matthew:
I am so very excited and want to know what you can tell me to fill in the blanks I have. Joseph Buckman was indeed a fireman for the Marion Fire Dept. in NY. I have a lot of data on that. Also, my mother had for many years a very large (museum-size) portrait of him as Fire Chief. Only a few years ago she donated it to historical society in Frederick, Maryland. I will also tell you that my Grandmother, Marguerite, referred to "Uncle Nat" and I believe that was Ignatius. She said that he married a Spanish girl. They had 5 boys and each had a different shade of red hair. They lived in NYC in the Bronx. The Spanish lady was named Liz (Elizabeth?) __?__.
Please contact me by my email address so we can share all the family bits and pieces.
