Buddin/Player S.C.

I know virtually nothing about the Buddins in my ancestry. Perhaps someone can help.
Three Player siblings married three Buddin siblings. They were all from South Carolina.
First, my ancestor, Lorenzo Dow Player b. 1819, married Martha Elizabeth "Betsy" Buddin.
Second, his brother, Christopher Turner Player, b. 1817, married Mary Jane Buddin, sister of "Betsy", above.
Third, Lorenzo and Christopher's sister, Adaline Player, b. 1822, married William Buddin, brother to "Betsy" and Mary Jane, above.
One source, which I got from the internet, said that these three Buddin siblings were the children of John A. Buddin and Christian Dennis.
This same source states that John A. Buddin is the son of John Buddin and ? Amonett.
It continues , with John Buddin as the son of John Budden or Budding and Elizabeth Robinson. This John Budden or Budding was in Charles Town, SC by 1720 and that he was from Ballinclough, Tipperary, Ireland.
Can anyone verify or add to this?
Thanks for your help.
Betty Floyd Matthews
