My great-grandmother Emma Buelow was born on November 12, 1856, in Posen, Germany, to Frederick and Mathilde (Schultz) Buelow (based on a posting on the website of the Northeastern Michigan Genealogical Society. Emma married Gottlieb (or Joseph) Blimke (or Bluemke)in Alpena, Michigan on October 17, 1880. The Blimkes had three children:
1. Caroline, born in Alpena on November 11, 1882, married Arthur Lewis Kline, had two children, died on December 12, 1972, in La Grange, Illinois.
2. Edward Blimke.
3. Pauline Emma Henrietta, born in Alpena in about 1890, moved to Everett, Washington in about 1903, married Oscar Lynwood White in 1908, had three children, died in April, 1976.
Emma died in Alpena on July 17, 1894.
If anyone has any information on Emma, her husband Gottlieb, or her son Edward, I would be very appreciative.
