Hello David,

I know this seems strange but I have been researching your family for my step-daughter Brittany. On a hunch based on naming practices in Victorian times I looked for a Henry Bilow and then variances on the last name in the 1880 census (hoping the family had stayed in the area where the youngest Henry was born that year).

Under the variance Bullow I found a family:

John BULLOW Self M Male W 55 PRU Laborer PRU PRU
Barbara BULLOW Wife M Female W 53 GER Keep House GER GER
Mary KOPP Dau S Female W 22 GER Servant GER GER
Anna M. WEISS Other S Female W 71 GER GER GER

Four or five doors down the same street I have located:

Henry BULLOW Household Male

Other Information: Birth Year <1855> Birthplace IN Age 25 Occupation Teamster Marital Status S <Single> RaceW <White> Head of Household John W. LANYOHR RelationOther Father's BirthplaceGER Mother's BirthplaceGER

Is it possible that these could be the family for whom we have both been searching?

Wanda VanderVeen
