The information I have gleaned from relatives, still in Wisconsin, could be placed on the proverbial head of a pin. I know for a fact that there are Buelow's all over the central part of Wisconsin, not just in the Portage county area where my father was born. I have spoke to some who live in the same township where my father was born and could only get the comment, "My dad said that we had relation in that area and one day we would have to go visit them, but we never did."
I'm recovering from total knee surgery so don't know if I'll get back to Wisconsin this year but will definitely be there next year.I also have old photograph's which have the comment written on them, "I had extra copies made so that I could send them to the folks out in South Dakota."
I have also traced my Buelow line into Kent County, Michigan. Knowing that they are there and then finding them has been one large task but I'm still working on it.
If anyone wants a copy of my data, just let me know.
