Hello,
Thank you for your reply. We have quite a bit of information that goes back farther than your grandfather's family in Kansaa. We would like to know if you have anything about our ancestors in Germany. We understood that when Otto came back to the U. S. after studying in Germany he brought a family tree home with him. It would be wonderful if we could compare a copy of this with what we have managed to aquire from distant relatives in Germany.
We have not been able to find out anything about Otto's grandmother and grandfather on his mother's side. We believe his grandfather's name was Thomas Schmidt.
