Buffaloe Family Genealogy Forum
I always thought Buffalo was a unique name until I started researching it. I was awed by the different spellings. I was more awed when I traced my tree to N.C. and saw how many Buffaloe families there were and wondered if my great grandparents were slaves who dropped the e after the civil war. My grandfather was born in Wake county around 1891 or so but that's as far as I can get on the net. I know we'll need to have feet on the ground in N.C. to go any further.
What also amazed me was how spread out over the country these families are. NC, Ala, Tenn, Tx, SD, Ca, ect... Wouldn't it be amazing if we were all related......
So, to all the Buffalo/e/w's......HELLO FAMILY!!!!
