Alexander Buffaloe (b. 1852 in Northampton County, NC) is my 3x-Great-Grandfather. His mother is Mary Clark aka Mary Buffaloe (b. 1820 in Northampton County, NC). His father is documented in census records as William Dorsey Buffaloe. The only William Buffaloe that I've found in the surrounding counties of Northampton County made a land transaction with Mary Clark in 1853. I have a photocopy of the deed.

Is William Buffaloe possibly a son of William Buffelow and Winifred Snipes?
