You have some very interesting information. It doesn't relate to my branch of the family directly, but it does make me wonder. Of course, our family may just have suffered from a bad case of wishful thinking for several generations. If you ever locate a Catawba or Cherokee who went by Buffalo in NC in the 1700's let me know.
