There may have been a Bugg Plantation down in Oglethorpe County, GA. This is where I trace my heritage back to Hampton Clayborn Bugg, I believe the tombstone read "Died in 1816". At least that is what I remember, because it has been about 20 years since I last saw it. He was buried on that same property that is now in the hands of another private individual.
