Ansel M. & Elizebeth Bugg Grave Site
Posted by: Mike Evans (ID *****3785) Date: April 17, 2004 at 19:11:43

information regarding the grave location of Ansel M. Bugg and his wife Elizebeth. The graves located in deep woods in Elmore, Elmore County, Alabama. I happened across them several years ago and took pictures of the head stones. Unfortunately, I can't locate the close up of the wife, but the husbands head stone reads as follows:

Ansel M Bugg
born
March 19th 1787
died
May 14th 1851

The area where they were located was about 1/4 mile south of a very old farm which was the only structure in the area until 1999. The area is now being developed and the grave sites are in serious jeopardy of being removed by developers (if not already gone).

I have for years wanted to find out more information on these people and perhaps share what I know with their decendants. Please contact me if this is of interest to you.
