Hi Toni

Thanks for the message. I only just recently located Walter Charles Durrant as on the 1881 census he still had the surname Bugg. I've been in contact with another Durrant through the genes reunited site and he seems to be a relation of one of Maria Durrant's siblings. Arthur James Bugg is my great grandfather and his father was Arthur John Bugg (Walter's older brother). On the 1881 census he is known as John Bugg. All three generations lived within a stones throw of each other in Herne Hill, coincidentally very near to where I live. My great grandfather Arthur James Bugg changed his surname to Bird after he got married.
I'm in the process of compiling my family tree as a gedcom file but it isn't quite finished yet. It is available on the gene's reunited site.
If you send me your e-mail address (hopefully my e-mail address is posted with this reply) i'll send you what i've got so far.

Cheers Tim
