Hi John - i understand it's been a while since you posted your message but hope you're still accessing the site.

I have been researching my Bugg ancestors and belong to a family i have traced back to Willisham and Barking (neighbouring villages) in Suffolk, close to the Essex border. The family has a lot of Stephens and Williams and the odd Robert and i think there must be a connection somewhere - the Buggs (my branch) did eventually move south to Essex as the pay for farmers was better than the rate in Suffolk. I wonder where the connection could be between the two families?

My family starts with Stephen (b. 1720) and Sarah (nee Bull, b. 1720) both of Willisham, Suffolk (next to Barking). They had Stephen (b. 1745) and Robert (b.1756) again both born in willisham.

Am happy to send across the Gedcom of what I've researched to date of my lot - let me know if you'd like to swap info.

Regards

Matt
