Matt,

Greetings from down under and thanks for your interest

I have three William Bugg(S)
1. William (? _ 1812 East Bergholt Suffolk) who married Esther Lett
2. William (1783 at East Bergholt - ? but probably East Bergholt) He married Eliozabeth Arnold 25 Dec 1808 at Brantham
3. William (14 May 1809 - Brantham and died 5 Oct 1851 Roydon. He married Annie Lewis

Sorry nothing before that

My Robert was one of William (3)children and he came to Australia in 1869

East Bergholt and Brantham are close by (the same parish) and we supect that William 3 moved to Roydon as part of the enclosures of the 1830s

There are no Stephens that I am aware of in the tree nor is there any record of the towns of Barking or Willisham

There are many Buggs in the living in the area and by coincidence a daughter of mine who is a vet worked in the district for many months last year.

Lets know if this is of help. If so I will be pleased to both receive and send a Gedcom to you once I can work out how to manage it. I am on Legacy 6

Cheers

John
