Hi Brian
Great to hear that you have a Bulbert connection. Anything you can contribute would be of great interest. Did your Mother mention any Bulbert ancestors of Dutch, Spanish or French origins prior to the move to Ireland?
My Van Bulbert was alleged to have been the daughter of a "Spanish grandee". I know in the 1600's, Spanish, French and Dutch were always in each other's way. My history is very poor but I'm working on it.
