Do you know anything about this Dr. Bulla? I'm wondering if he has any connection to my maternal BULLA lines. My grandfather was an old country doctor, who served the Back Creek township, Randolph Co., NC for many years. He was Alfred M. BULLA, MD. [Granddaddy is pictured with a group of Randolph County doctors, which hangs in Randolph County's Health Dept. His brother Dr. Jeff D. BULLA, was doctor to the Hillsville area of Randolph County. Their father was Dr. Arch C. BULLA, who served the Back Creek area and was doctor to the inmates at the Randolph Co. "Poor House." Arch had a brother who was a doctor over in nearby Davidson County, his name was Alexander BULLA. They had a brother who was in Medical School, when he died in 1861. His name was Chester BULLA. He left a young wife, Katherine, and I know nothing further on her. I also had an uncle who was the Wake County Health Doctor, in Raleigh, NC. His name was Dr. A. C. BULLA. His picture hangs in the Wake County Health Dept., in Raleigh.
You can see why I'm curious about the doctor you mentioned. A son in law, to my great grandfather, Dr. Arch C. BULLA, left this area, and moved to "oklahoma Ter." He became a Dr., and so did one of his sons. Their last names were DOUGAN.
