i have information on a joshua fry bullitt, my great grandfather, who might have been in big stone gap because my dad, james bullitt durrett, was born in big stone gap in 1912. and his father, robert weems durrett, is buried in what was to be a family plot in big stone gap. but the spelling is different, ours is fry and you have it listed as frye. these are the bullitts out of bullitt county, ky and i have info on them back to col. joshua fry 1700's (george washington served under him) and to benjamin bullitt in 1700's.
if you think this is your bullitt, let me know, i'll share what i have via a letter from said joshua fry bullitt in an application for one of his daughter's for the daughter's of the american revolution, back in the early 1900's.
take care
richard durrett
