I have a copy of the book, "My Life At Oxmoor" by William C. Bullitt and would be glad to look up information. I am descended from the Bullitts as follows:
1. Benjamin Bullitt, born 1624, Longuedoc, France
2. Joseph Bullitt married Elizabeth Brandt (line goes back to Daniel Brandt in Germany
3. Benjamin Bullitt married Elizabeth Harrison
4. Cuthbert Bullitt married Helen Scott I have her line back to Henry II, King of England
5.Alexander Scott Bullitt, b. 1762, Dumfries, VA, died April 13, 1816, at Oxmoor, Jefferson Co., KY, married Priscilla Christian. I have her line back to Annie Henry, sister of Patrick, who married Col. William Christian. Christinasburg, VA is named for him I have the Henry line back into Scotland
6. William Christian Bullitt, married Mildred Ann Fry and lived at Oxmoor
7. Helen Martin Bullitt, born 1834 at Oxmoor, died 1896 at Ridgeway Corner, Jefferson Co., Ky, married Dr. John Henry Chenoweth
8.Mildred Ann Chenoweth, married John Stites (my grandparents)
